review:
Merzbow is the world's leading sonic terrorist, and one of the biggest names in the 'industrial' field. John Waterman is a German sonic artist who is a leading player in the avant garde/industrial world. This album comes in three parts: one piece solely constructed by each artist, and a mammoth collaborative blast, finding both artists' styles blending together into a massive ball of experi-rage. This title was listed as the noise CD of 1996 on the industrial Usenet groups charts.
